In the morning, explore Ancient Epidaurus, renowned for its healing sanctuary and its remarkable theatre, famous for its acoustics (optional excursion). After lunch on board, we’ll sail to Nafplion, the first capital of modern Greece and the principal port of the Eastern Peloponnese. Nafplion is a perfect starting point for our optional tours.

Begin with a brief walking tour of Nafplion before heading through the picturesque Argolis countryside to Mycenae, a major center of ancient Greek civilization. Explore the Lion’s Gate, Cyclopean Walls, Agamemnon’s Tomb, and more. Enjoy a gentle hike along scenic mountain paths, where we’ll set up a unique barbecue lunch. Be ready to capture stunning views with your camera. In the afternoon, sail to Monemvasia, a medieval Byzantine town.
Discover Monemvasia on a guided walk, exploring its winding streets, traditional churches, and the castle. Known as the Gibraltar of the East, Monemvasia boasts well-preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture and is the birthplace of the renowned Greek poet Giannis Ritsos.

Arrive in Gythion, the ancient naval base of the Spartans. Our hike today will explore the Mani Peninsula, including Cape Tainaron, starting in Kokkinogia and ending at the Tenaro lighthouse, the southernmost point of continental Europe. The hike, which takes about an hour, features rocky sections but is relatively easy, offering views of historical sites, including a Roman mosaic floor, a 19th-century lighthouse, and a cave associated with Poseidon’s necromancy.
Overnight at sea, heading to Pylos.
Arrive in Pylos, known for its historic naval battles, including the one that led to Greek independence.
