Project Scope: Digitalize the online Presence of the Hotel
Vivestia initiated the project by presenting the concept and benefits of creating a Virtual Reality Tour using Matterport technology to the Panormos Bay Suites Management Team. Situated in the picturesque location of Panormos Mykonos, nestled on a mountain slope, Panormos Bay Suites offered a unique and breathtaking setting for guests to enjoy.
A team of dedicated personnel arrived at the Hotel premises to inspect the different room types and areas of the Hotel. The Inspection Process lasted 4 hours and was performed along with the Hotel's Management Team.
After gaining approval, Vivestia collaborated closely with Panormos Bay Suites to define the project scope, objectives, and specific requirements for the Virtual Reality Tour. Detailed discussions and planning sessions took place to address the architectural challenges posed by the property's multi-level layout and distinctive design. The goal was to create a seamless VR experience that captured the essence of Panormos Bay Suites' charm and elegance.
Vivestia deployed a team of experts to conduct comprehensive 3D scanning and capture high-resolution imagery of Panormos Bay Suites. The team meticulously navigated the property's various levels, utilizing Matterport technology to capture every unique space, from the luxurious suites to the panoramic outdoor areas. Additional content, such as descriptions highlighting the stunning views and architectural details, was also created to enrich the Virtual Reality Tour.
Once the scanning process was completed, Vivestia dedicated time to edit and enhance the captured data. Careful attention was given to seamlessly connect the different levels and showcase the architectural design of Panormos Bay Suites. The team refined the 3D models, adjusted lighting and colors, and incorporated atmospheric elements to create a captivating and true-to-life Virtual Reality Tour.
To ensure the Virtual Reality Tour met high standards of functionality, performance, and user experience, Vivestia conducted thorough quality assurance testing. The team meticulously examined the navigation, interactive elements, multimedia content, and compatibility across various platforms and devices. Addressing the challenge of capturing the property as a cohesive VR model, any issues or inconsistencies identified during testing were promptly addressed to deliver a polished final product.
During this phase, Vivestia collaborated closely with Panormos Bay Suites' web development team to seamlessly integrate the Virtual Reality Tour into their website. Technical specifications and assets were provided to facilitate the integration process. Rigorous testing was conducted to ensure the Virtual Reality Tour functioned flawlessly within the website environment and across different web browsers and devices.
Vivestia worked closely with Panormo's Marketing Team to strategically launch the Virtual Reality Tour on Vivestia's Booking Platform. To ensure Live Prices and Availability connection with Webhotelier was established through API.
To ensure the long-term success of the Virtual Reality Tour, Vivestia provided Panormos Bay Suites with ongoing technical support and maintenance services. This included regular performance monitoring and analytics assessment of the Virtual Reality Tour. Any necessary updates, optimizations, or expansions were implemented in collaboration with Panormos Bay Suites' team as their property continued to captivate guests with its distinctive charm and natural beauty.
The final deliverable of the project was an impressive Virtual Tour encompassing all 14 different room types of Panormos Bay Suites. Despite the architectural challenge posed by the property’s diverse layout, Vivestia successfully captured the unique essence of each room over the course of 4 days of shooting. The result is a breathtaking Virtual Tour that showcases the elegance and beauty of Panormos Bay Suites’ various accommodations. Despite the complexities involved, the end product looks truly amazing, providing potential guests with an immersive and enticing experience.
